This is probably the biggest question we get asked - and we understand that there are a lot of scam sites out there.  So how can we ensure this is safe? Well, first of all we can talk to you - via email, via the phone, via FaceTime to see we are real people.  With most all our rentals we allow you to bring your payment(s) with you on arrival - so there's no "sending of large amounts of money" prior to your arrival.  

We get that some places show you a price on their website - including what your down payment is.  We don't do that here - we request you reach out for pricing.  Why is that?  Well quite simply I know what it's like to be on a budget.  I was a single mom for years trying to figure out how to afford a trip for my family to Ocean Lakes.  With that in mind I will attempt to try to make your requests work - meaning I can work with homeowners on rental fees to see if we can accommodate your requests.  We can work with you on payment plans, deposit plans, etc. - meaning we will do what we can to help you and your family find that perfect spot for your vacation.  

We list on each house page what that home includes - things like outdoor grills or WiFi or dishwashers.  You most likely are familiar with the amenities that Ocean Lakes has - the indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, arcade, miniature golf, restaurant, etc.  Our homes also come with your linen package - that's 2 towels and 2 washcloths per sleeping position, a kitchen towel set, sheet sets for all bedding, bath mats, hand towels and cosmetic towels for makeup removal.  Leave those things at home and don't worry about packing them!
